"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers...strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."

Meet midwife Molly

Hey mama! Thanks so much for being here.

I’m Molly, endorsed midwife, childbirth educator and mother to two very busy children. I love living in the country with my partner, our two children and our spotty dog Benson. I love walks in nature and retreating to the kitchen where I can bake and cook ample amounts of delicious food. Cooking is definitely my love language!

I have been a midwife since 2019, working in a range of services including busy tertiary hospitals, the community and a family birth centre. The birth centre is where I really found my passion for continuity of care and developing trusting relationships with the women I care for. Being with women during their pregnancy, being able to support them in labour and then supporting them in the early days of motherhood is a true privilege and something I love immensely. After having a home birth with my second child, I truly understood the power of private midwifery care and how incredible it was for women and their families and I knew this was something I had to do!

My own journey of motherhood has impacted me profoundly and shaped me into the woman and midwife I am today. I love supporting women, educating them and their partners, building trusting relationships and nurturing the journey into motherhood, whether it’s their first, second or fourth child.

My family and I relocated from Perth to country Victoria (where I was born and raised) and the timing finally felt right to pursue my passion in private midwifery care.
